How To Replace The Slag Extractor Conveyor Chains And Scrapers?

1. Check whether the scaffold is erected properly and the isolation layer erected on the slag bucket on the upper part of the hull is firm and qualified. Check and confirm that there is no part in the body of the slag extractor that affects the operation of the slag extractor and turns off the door switch;

2. Check the wear and elongation of the slag extractor conveyor chain, confirm whether it needs to be replaced, make original records and maintenance defect records and sign;

3. Check the wear and deformation of the conveyor scraper of the slag extractor, confirm the replacement quantity, make original records and maintenance defect records and sign;

4. Set up a scaffold at the head of the slag extractor, and disassemble the conveyor chains and scrapers at the same time. Cut the conveyor chain under the main drive sprocket to make the old chain fall from the headand send the new chain from the slope of the slag extractor and install it immediately. The distance between the two scrapers is 10 round chain links;

5. The maintenance work must be supervised by the safety officer of the maintenance unit, and a person in charge of the work shall be designated to command. The operation personnel shall cooperate to start and stop the slag extractor on site. All personnel are not allowed to enter the slag extractor body;

6. Before starting the slag extractor, all personnel must evacuate the site to a safe area, and command the operators to start the slag extractor after being confirmed by the person in charge;

7. The operator shall stop the operation of the slag extractor under the command of the person in charge, hang the warning board of "someone works, no start" on the operation panel, and command the staff to approach the site to replace the round link conveyor chains and scrapers after being confirmed by the person in charge;

8. After the replacement of each scraper and chain, check whether the scraper and chain are installed correctly;

9. After the scraper and chain are replaced, adjust the tightness of the chain and try to turn two circles.
