DIN 745 chain shackle (chain bracket) is to fit round steel link chain DIN 764 and DIN 766. In case of higher hardness request, case hardening (e.g., carburization) is deployed to meet HRC 55-60.

Dimensional control, breaking force test and hardness check shall be applied to every batch of chain shackles production.
